When a building fails to properly retain heat inside we have heat loss, so in winter it is cold or wet and requires many hours of heating to become comfortable. In the same way, in summer, it does not shelter adequately from the external heat nor it is able to retain the fresh air derived from a possible air conditioning system.
The correct insulation of the external walls allows to improve the thermo-hygrometric comfort of the building, to solve the problems due to thermal bridges, and is the first step to achieve an adequate level of comfort.

Thermal insulation adhesives and glues
The function of a glue for thermal insulation systems is to fix the support to bear the vertical load (i.e. the weight of the system) and the horizontal load (i.e. the thrust of the wind).
On the other hand, the layer of skim coat with interposed reinforcing mesh (reinforced skim coat) ensures protection to the insulating panel and mechanical resistance to the surface, to counteract the hygrothermal and surface tensions.
The wide range of adhesives and skim coats includes gray, white, fibrous, lightened, thick products, ETA certified and compatible with all types of insulating panels in use in the market.

Coatings and plasters
The coating is composed of PREPARATION BASE and THICKNESS PLASTER and provides protection from atmospheric agents as well as greater mechanical strength, and determines the final result of the aesthetic component of the wall. All Grigotherm coatings are ETA certified.
