Traditional screeds - BaseForte®
The screed is the supporting layer of the floor, made of non-structural material, laid on site on the relative subfloor or on an intermediate insulating layer.
Its function is to distribute the loads that will weigh on it and to lay the flooring. The traditional screed is composed of three materials used in the right proportions: cement, inert material (sand and/or gravel) and water.

For the installation of a floor and wall covering with ceramic tiles or other stone materials, it is necessary to identify the most suitable tile adhesive on the basis of:
- the characteristics of the substrate and the material to be laid;
- the thickness to be created, also considering the intended use of the room.
The adhesive must form a sufficiently compact structure and have elastomeric and plastic characteristics that are consistent with the foreseeable movements and deformations of the supporting surface. They must also meet the requirements of international quality and safety guidelines.

Grouting cement - FugaStyle®
Grouting for joints, from the technical and functional point of view , must ensure a filling and sealing power.
The main function of grouting for joints, however, remains the excellent resistance to thermal changes (frost, heated floors), chemicals, dirt, stains, water.
Grouting the tiles, properly laid, lengthens their life and, in addition, helps to perfectly conceal any imperfections of the screed.
